Leslie Daniel Raj is a Senior Cloud Application Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS), bringing more than 17 years of experience in software engineering and cloud architecture. At AWS, Leslie helps organizations migrate and modernize their applications in the cloud, specializing in Generative AI, serverless computing, and event-driven architecture. This work spans cloud-native application design, large-scale cloud modernization, and federal-grade security compliance, including architecting multi-agent AI systems and secure retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns for regulated industries.
Leslie holds multiple industry certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified Developer – Associate, AWS Certified AI Practitioner, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate.
Prior to AWS, Leslie held solutions architect and technical leadership roles at VMware Tanzu Labs, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), and other organizations, delivering enterprise and cloud-agnostic solutions across financial services, insurance, and compliance domains. Leslie holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University and is based in Odessa, Florida.
