Board and Committee Positions

Elected by Members

Vice President – (Voting Position)

The chapter vice president organizes, coordinates, and manages all CPE activities coordinating with Events Director.  The Vice President assumes the duties of the President when the President is absent and assists the President in establishing committees.

Secretary – (Voting Position)

Maintains the chapter’s records, minutes of board meetings, and chapter bylaws. Responsible for the maintenance and retention of forms, documents, and correspondence.

Treasurer – (Voting Position)

Custodian of the Chapter funds.  Prepares and maintains the official books and accounting records for the chapter and is responsible for filing tax forms and responding to audit requests. Responsible for maintaining appropriate internal controls over the chapter’s financial assets.

Membership Director – (Voting Position)

Maintains current member information and initiates contact to welcome new members. Works to promote membership retention.  Responsible for recognizing those who successfully pass the exam and those who become certified. Coordinates member networking events.  Promote and serve as a source of information for ISACA certifications.

Academic Relations Director – (Voting Position)

Serves as liaison to local colleges and universities and promotes ISACA’s Academic Advocate program. Makes recommendations regarding sponsorship of college activities and represents the chapter on committees for joint events. Additionally, responsible for making facility arrangements for the certification review course(s).  Promote and serve as a source of information for ISACA certifications.

Events Director – (Voting Position)

Coordinates the venue for events and “call for speaker” activities in support of the theme for the training event.  Coordinates with Vice President and Marketing to execute the details for a training event.

Corporate Sponsorship Director – (Voting Position)

Responsible for building relationships with area corporations and meeting sponsorship goals.  Additionally, responsible for administering the sponsorship program to ensure the chapter maintains contact with corporate sponsors and that the value of sponsorship is realized.

Standing Committee Positions

 Certification Coordinator

Responsible for coordinating review courses and maintains a list of qualified instructors for boot camps for ISACA certification.  Coordinates promoting the certification examinations and professional designations.

Marketing Coordinator

Responsible for coordinating marketing efforts to promote the chapter and the chapter events.  This includes working with social media, CVENT, and Events Director.

Web and Email Administrator Coordinator

Responsible for maintaining the chapter website, administering access, and posting key communications to the site.  Works closely with the marketing and social media coordinators.

CVENT Coordinator

Responsible for managing the use of the CVENT tool to promote events.  Works closely with the marketing coordinator and the social media and tools coordinators.

Social Media Coordinator

Responsible for coordinating the communications and posting of chapter activities on LinkedIn.  Works closely with the marketing, Web admin and CVENT coordinators to ensure consistent clear communications to the members.

Social Media Tools Coordinator

Responsible for coordinating the communications and posting of chapter activities on Facebook and Twitter.  Works closely with the marketing, Web admin and CVENT coordinators to ensure consistent clear communications to the members.
